For Labor Services, We Are Most Often Called To Help In Two Scenarios:
- Loading and Unloading a Moving Truck, Storage Unit, or Portable Storage Unit Assistance
- Assistance with Dumpster Loading and Filling
- Relocating a Thing Within the Home – If we are simply moving one item that will take less than an hour, we have a $250 minimum rather than the $400 minimum shown below.
We book our two-man teams in two-hour blocks for Options 1 and 2 indicated above. The first two hours will set you back $400. If you believe you’ll require our crew for more than 2 hours, you’ll need to book an extra two-hour block, which will set you back $400. For example, the total cost for four hours would be $800.
When our staff arrives at the service location, the time begins. The crew will have to move on to their next appointment once the time limit has expired. Unfortunately, if the time is over, but you still want them to stay and help with extra work, we will have to send them on their way since that crew will have other duties to do, and we can’t risk them being late for another customer’s appointment.
However, if you know ahead of time that you’ll want the crew to stay until the project is finished, I’d recommend scheduling extra time. If there is enough time between your enquiry and the appointment, we may arrange for an in-person estimate so that our staff can assess the scope of work and advise you on how many two-hour blocks you will require.
If you request that our crew assist you in loading or unloading a moving truck or portable storage unit, we will also want you to sign a waiver relieving us from any liability for damages to the furniture that may occur or have occurred once loaded and/or during transportation. Again, we are not a licensed or professional moving business, so we would suggest you to one of our local moving partners if you require a professional relocation.
